School Counselors

Counselors

Our vision is for all students to use their personal strengths to become responsible, productive and caring leaders of society.

We believe that ...

  • Every student can learn and succeed.
  • Every student should have access to the comprehensive school counseling program.
  • Every student deserves a safe environment where they are treated with dignity.
  • Effective school counseling is a collaborative process which involves school counselors, students, families and all school personnel.

Our Services

Our services include classroom guidance, small group counseling and short term individual counseling. Please contact us if you would like to refer a student.  The counseling program is available to all students.

Our school counseling program is to provide a comprehensive program that empowers all students to use their individual strengths to achieve their current and future goals. School counselors collaborate with students, parents and staff members to address our students academic, career and social emotional development. We strive to provide each student with the knowledge and skills that are needed to perform to their full potential in school and life thereafter.

"I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 1995. I started working with Bulloch County Schools in 2010. Prior to that, I worked for 14 years with a local family practice doctor. I love helping our fabulous kids at Sallie Z. They keep me very busy! I am married with three children of my own. We live in Statesboro with our two rescue dogs and two rescue cats."
